Kevin Rose mentioned in his earlier diggnation about possible 3G iPhone coming out.
Sometimes back, it was reported that 3G iPhone might be out soon this summer.
Just now I found out from Techcrunch that the 3G iPhone seems real now. Since I missed the current generation, I would like to try out the 3G iPhone... and it will only costs about $ 199. nice!!!! cannot wait for it!
Why 3G?
well, to me personally, it supports faster data connections.... which means productivity and less irritation from the waiting time. more rich-content and better experiences.
check out this article. Is there an official announcement of 3G iPhone release?

Anger... so much!
well... I heard this news about Ping Chen, the vice-president of Xidian University, deprived the rights and opportunities for some of their students to go overseas to participate in international cheer leading competition (in the US I guess). That already made me feel angry about his decision.
What's worse was that he let the team down again by rejecting them from participating in the Olympics Beijing!!!
Well, I don't know what kind of person he is. From this matter, I really doubt his reasonings behind his decision on these two matters?
May I question how do you really define education? and what's your plan in making the education, at minimum in the university you are working in better?
Why am I angry?
It seems to me that he's depriving the rights of young people to do what they want in the meaningful way. Somehow he said study comes first. yes... if study comes first, why don't you keep studying till today in school??? that's not the case right?
Why do people study today? In my opinion, studying in school is a way to equip oneself with some skills and knowledge, basically the ability to learn, to meet many people and friends to build a strong network and to find a path that they want to go, so one day he/her is able to survive in the real world and do something great (at least to him/her, of course the positive impact... we had enough negative ones to deal with nowadays. in fact, it never stops)
from what his statement, studying seems only to stay in school, bite the books and listen to the lectures. well, if they don't get out, how do they know what they want??? i guess he might not understand what "empowerment" means. If he knows, he needs to work on his executions!
Maybe his decision making is simple - no monetary benefits from the activities that the group of students are going to do. well, fame is not generated by money... it's by people and what they have accomplished in life. well, i have to say in the materialistic word, money is everything. if he thinks that way, then he shall quit his job and find a better suited job for him in the more materialistic industry... i don't want to name such one because it is not fair. I guess he can be a good mortgage broker turning down deals... well, if he was in the US, perhaps US can avoid today's huge economic recession. (I don't think he would based on what he's done here.. ha ha...)
I don't mean to attack him here... but his decisions on these two matters just do not me feel comfortable right now. Not just being uncomfortable. It really made me angry. It's already so hard to find some BO LE (伯乐)- a good judge of talents... I don't think he is. certainly not outside his area of expertise... very unreasonable to me.
disclaimer: I've made a few assumptions.
1. His decision could be based from monetary benefits.
2. His opinion on education seemed narrow.
3. He does not understand sports and its strong spirits.
(come on, sportsmen are admirable. They challenge human beings' physical limitations. Isn't that great?)
4. He might not have an international perspective over things.
5. He cannot see the values of the students participating in events like such.
6. (hopefully) He's not making decision on his personal interests!
